Week 57 - Light Pony

Bright Light is a young student of magic specialized in light magic.

I've been itching to draw this character. It's my second OC and probably the last one I need. She's supposed to play important role in story about my main character. But I'm not going to spoil it just in case I ever decide to actually write it.

Regarding the picture. She casts ball of light which sure is useful at nights near the forest. Her special talent involves all sorts of RPG labelled "light magic" and something more. Visualization of this character is still in progress.

I think in the future I'll place that pink stripe on the outside of her tail :>
Also, I've been thinking about making her horn glow yellow but I'm afraid it would get lost in her hair using pencils. Not to mention CM, that could use some more details.

From what I understand, a unicorn's magic glow is 'supposed' to be their cutie mark's most prominent color. (And I put 'supposed' in quotes because the animators themselves often vary from this.) In the case of Bright Light, I think her current glow color makes a lot of sense, as it matches the color of the candle's flame. I would also agree with MingoZK about her eyes being beautiful.
